I am a 40 something stay at home mom of 3 kids, married to a wonderful, supporting, understanding man of 13 years, living my childhood dream of being an equestrian. I have a sweet, gentle, beautiful, 11 year old American Curly nicknamed Maya.Maya is the horse of my dreams, she has been so gentle and patient while I reintroduce myself to riding again for the 1st time in over 20 years.
I am so excited to enter the world of blogging and share my experiences, maybe even inspire others to reenter or begin their journey of being an equestrain.

Hi and welcome to the blogging world! What a beautiful horse, love her blaze. I too got back into horses after a 20 absence, what an experience it's been. Got my boy when he was 11 months and have been working with him for 7 years, he is a great horse who has put up with a lot from me just starting over. Love horses and the enrichment they bring to our lives.

I also rescued 2 PMU Foals. One I had to put down with wobblers
And my other guy moved on to do 3 day eventing
With another owner when he gets bigger. When I began
My journey back to horses I felt much safer
On the ground, now that I'm riding I cannot believe
I waited so long.
